Bark Parks

Chandler Bark Park at Snedigar Park, 4500 S. Alma School Road

Fenced, benches, handicap access,poopbags, parking, restrooms, lights, water, trash.
Located at the Chandler Regional Sports Complex it offers training obstacles such as a see-saw, balance beam, tunnel, hurdles and a large A-frame. Future plans include a dog drinking fountain, additional lighting and a ramada. Open to the public except when Chandler Police K-9 units and dog obedience training classes are scheduled.


Shawnee Bark Park, 1400 W. Mesquite Street, Chandler

Facility has a staging area, large area for the dogs to roam; an agility course, Fenced, benches, handicap, trees, parking, lights, water, trashcans.

West Chandler Park,  250 S Kyrene Rd.

It has approximately 3.5 acres of turf and a 1/2 acre fenced just for little dogs; future lighting planned for night use. Please observe posted rules.


Mesa Quail Run Park, 4155 E. Virginia,

Steele Indian School Park, 3rd Street and Indian School, Phoenix. The off leash area covers almost 2 acres, and incorporates space for both large and small dogs. There is a drinking fountain. For more info call 602-495-0739.

Phoenix Washington Park, 6455 N 23rd Avenue, Phoenix has an off-leash dog park at 21st Avenue north of Maryland.

It is called the "PETsMART Dog Park at Washington Park." The 2.65-acre park has 6-foot-high perimeter fencing, two double-gated entrances, a water fountain, disabled-accessible sidewalks, two watering stations for dogs, benches, mutt mitt dispensers and garbage cans for dog waste. Large trees located along the perimeter of the park provide shade. There's a small area of the park that is fenced off for smaller dogs. For more information call 602-261-8559.

RJ Dog Park (formerly known as Pecos Park), 17010 S. 48th Street (Ahwatukee), two separate areas (one for larger dogs, one for smaller dogs) totalling more than 2 acres of space. Water and mutt mitt bags are available. The areas are lit, and there is a double-entry gate system. 602-262-6862 for more information.

Rose Mofford Sports Complex, 9833 N. 25th Avenue (north of Dunlap)
This park features 2.5 acres and is divided into separate, double-gated areas for large and small dogs. There are water fountains, benches, trees, mutt mitt stations, and the park is accessible to people with disabilities.

Grovers Basin, 20th Street at Cave Creek Road and Grovers; the park features 2.3 acres of grass surface divided evenly into separately fenced areas for large dogs and smaller dogs under 20 pounds. There are mutt mitt dog waste dispensers in each area. No water fountains at this dog park. Call 602-262-6696 for more information.


Scottsdale Horizon Park, 15440 N. 100th St.,Scottsdale - Enclosed area for dogs. Grass (when not dirt) & baggies provided. Off Leash Area is 2/3 of an acre, with a 10x20 foot shade structure, a people/dog drinking fountain and a push button dust control feature that waters the area to keep the dust down. There are no lights yet.
Scottsdale Vista del Camino Park, 7700 E. Roosevelt St.

Scottsdale Off-leash Activity Center = SE corner of Hayden & McDonald, open 6 am to 9pm

Off Leash Area is a ½ acre with shade trees, benches and doggie water fountain.  The entry is double gated for you and your pet's safety.  It is located off of Pierce and Hayden - go west on Pierce into parking lot and dog park is on the north side of the parking lot. fenced, benches, tables, poopbags, handicap access, parking, lights, water, trash.
This park has abundant parking, away from traffic and is in an isolated area, so as not to interfere with other park usages. This facility is the result of "Paws at the Park" organization's efforts, and it replaces the temporary facility at Chaparral Park.

Glendale Sahuaro Ranch Park, (SW Corner) 63rd Avenue just north of Olives Avenue
There is an enclosed off-leash area within this large regional park; developed by Glendale Park & Rec, the dogpark is almost an acre, with trees, benches and a dual people/dog water fountain. Please observe all park rules, posted at the entry -above all, clean up after your dog.
